I did something today for the third year in a row, a little trick that makes saving for cool magic stuff really easy. I discovered this on the net and its so simple to implement I wanted to pass it on to Magician’s Masterclass Members.

We all need to save money for those fun magic purchases or vacations but most of us go about it the wrong way.

We try to budget, pay the bills and then put away what’s left after we’ve paid those bills. That’s the wrong way to do it. All of the experts in money management tell you that the way to do it is to ‘Pay Yourself First’.

This doesn’t mean take your salary or wage first, it means put aside a portion of your gross income (after business expenses) BEFORE you pay your personal bills. They all say 10% is the norm, and that’s great, but here’s a little hack I discovered that will get you $1400 at the end of the year and you won’t miss it. Really.
